here are some ads that we did in 1998. we ran them in XXL and blaze magazine. blaze was vibe magazine’s (R.I.P.) hip hop effort that lasted on the stands for about two years. i remember when we used to wait anxiously for the next issue of whatever hip hop magazines we could get our hands on.

we shot the first ad in dr. ken’s condo. he has the dubious distinction of being toronto’s coolest dentist and when he’s not drilling and filling, he runs wedge gallery. and you might recognize the “pre-jessica rabbit” melyssa ford in the shot.

fayard and harold were the most talented and innovative dance team of their time and they have set the standard for every dancer since. gregory hines once said that if their biography was ever filmed, the dance sequences would have to be computer generated because no one would be able to perform their moves.

this cut and sew tee is the introduction to the upcoming women’s line. the graphic is an update from a piece that was first done in ‘93.

i finally decided that we should reintroduce women’s after a conversation that i had with daniwho heads up canada goose. i guess that it figures that a guy with a great brand would have great insight.

tbg for women will start hitting stores as soon as it’s ready this spring.

it seems like we have been working on a website since we relaunched the brand in the fall of 2006. well, we are still working on it but in the meantime we have decided to start posting news, info and updates here.
